Privacy Policy — FirstWords English (Android App)

This Privacy Policy explains how the FirstWords English Android app ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information. It applies to the mobile app only. By using the app, you agree to these practices.

• Name — collected when you create your account, to personalise your account.
• Email address — collected when you sign up or log in, to identify your account and let you sign in.
• Password — you set a password to protect your account; it is stored securely in encrypted (hashed) form by our authentication provider. We never see or store it in plain text.
• Basic technical data — sign-in timestamps and limited security/log information, used to keep accounts secure.

We do not collect phone number, contacts, location, photos, or files. The app shows no ads and uses no third-party advertising or analytics trackers. The app does not process payments.

When you use FirstWords English, we store your learning activity — which lessons you have completed, your daily streak, and your quiz scores. This is linked to your account and is used only to show you your progress inside the app. We do not share it with anyone. To delete this data, email support@sdrflux.in.

• To create, secure, and manage your account.
• To let you log in and access the app's learning content.
• To keep the service safe and prevent abuse.
• To respond to your support requests.

Account and authentication data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted third-party backend and authentication provider acting as our data processor. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with: (a) Supabase, which stores your account data and powers login on our behalf; and (b) authorities, if required by law.

We keep your account data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time by emailing support@sdrflux.in from your account email with the subject line "Delete my account". We will delete it within 30 days.

The app is intended for college students and adult learners. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app means you accept the changes.
